VIENNA CODE dropped from the six path to the three path around the first turn, moved closer outside the five-eighths, passed the half-mile pole under urging, dropped back in the two path on the far turn and came up empty. MASHNEE GIRL was caught seven wide around the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, ranged up four wide early on the far turn, was asked with three furlongs to run, chased six wide into the stretch and capitulated. MINUTE WALTZ went four wide on the first turn, pressed the pace on the outside, chased three wide on the far turn, was driven four wide into the stretch and had nothing left. SHALIMAR GARDENS was hustled from the gate then urged five wide on the first turn, settled down the backstretch, was urged along three wide on the far turn and failed to respond. LEN LO LADY raced in the two path on both turns while at the rear and was no factor. WICKED HOT was hustled from the start, raced six wide on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along passing the half-mile pole, traveled four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch and faltered.
