KING OF STING pressed the pace in the three path, bid at the three-eighths pole to be clear, drew off and then lasted under steady urging. ASHWINS ORB vied inside, backed off at the three-eighths pole, then came back belatedly outside and missed. MEATLOAF'S CHANCE vied between foes, gave way after a half mile and was eased late, then walked home.
