Chart notes
SILVER R was bumped at the break, moved up three wide nearing the quarter pole, raced six wide near the three sixteenths pole and finished strongly to get up under strong encouragement. FRONT DANCER was coaxed along from the outside, had a clear lead at the eighth pole, was wore down and finished willingly to the wire. PROUD CIVILIAN dropped back early on, raced from the outside in the stretch run and made a good late gain. MUD ISLAND was hustled along soon after the break and weakened in the final stages. PRESSING CONCERN was bumped at the break, raced at the back of the pack early on, angled widest through the stretch run and had no late rally. EDMUND FITZGERALD vied for the early lead from the inside and faded.
