Chart notes
POSITIVE PHIL became a bit anxious in the gate then stalked two deep, started a bid approaching the three eighths pole, took the nod toward the head of the lane and dueled clear later yards. JACK THE RIPPER (FR) rated a short lead inside, came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole, was met toward the head of the lane, raced close through the upper stretch then relented the final sixteenth. CHARLIE POTATOES settled off the rail on the first turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and ran evenly in the lane. SOUTHSIDE WARRIOR rounded the first turn about the four path and raced outside into the backstretch, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, came through the far turn in the four path and showed little in the lane. FRANKEE MERCH settled in the three path the first turn, showed little response through the backstretch then saved ground on the far turn. FORT FORTITUDE rated off the pace inside the first turn and showed little response through the backstretch.
