Chart notes
HARROW rated back in the early going, moved up on the two path through the second turn, angled three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and drove clear late. BARNEGAT LIGHT sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, held sway to the final yards, then was no match for the winner, while clearly best of the rest. JO JO HANS unhurried early, saved ground through the turn, angled out in the stretch and closed for the show. HE'S A MESS well placed, gained position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane, drifted in and weakened. FRANZ JOSEF allowed to settle, gained position three and four wide through the second turn, drifted out badly into the stretch and faded. LIGHTNING CHARLIE well placed and inside, saved ground through the turn, came through inside into the stretch and faded.
