Chart notes
U. S. ARMY was well placed while three wide into the turn, rallied on the turn and was in a long drive and was best in the end. AARON'S SPIRIT set a pressured pace while inside, was in a long drive but weakened in late stretch. KENTUCKY ICE was unhurried early then rallied four wide in the stretch, was gaining ground but was no menace. BYE was shuffled back early then saved ground on the turn, rallied inside and finished well. BROTHER GARRY was three wide on the turn then made a bid while five wide in the stretch and came up empty. CAPTAIN DOZER pressed the pace while two wide, was hard used then faltered. MINISTER MAZ was unhurried early then raced on the inside on the turn but was no menace. KANT CONQUER ME was pinballed at the start then rallied three wide into the turn making a bid but faltered in the drive.
