Chart notes
STARSHIP EMPIRE mid pack and outside, looped up three and four wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain, dueled with the leader late and edged ahead in the final strides. AULT well placed and outside, gained a striking position, collaring and bidding outside the leader into the stretch, edged ahead of that one late, then dueled with the winner and was outfinished. GAGE HAS A GRAY set the pace off the rail, shook clear down the backstretch, stayed on when challenged through the second turn, then weakened late and held the show. YADI allowed to settle, looped three and four wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the lane and passed tiring rivals. GREAT rated back inside in the early going, lost some ground through the second turn, angled three wide into the stretch and weakened. INCLUSIVE well placed and inside, faded through the turn.
