YOU'RE THE CAUSE was allowed to settle inside, moved up strongly along the inside on the turn, angled out nearing the three-sixteenths pole, caught Missed the Boat leaving the eighth pole, dueled with that one to the wire and prevailed narrowly in a stiff drive. MISSED THE BOAT saved ground setting the pace in hand, responded when challenged and held on gamely to just miss. MR. MISCHIEF saved ground stalking the pace, angled out nearing the quarter pole, was four-wide entering the stretch but lacked a rally. HUNTERS GHOST prompted the pace for six furlongs from along the outside and tired. BERNALINHO dropped back while racing four-wide early, was six-wide entering the stretch and failed to threaten.
