Chart notes
CLEMENZA was away alertly to set the fast pace on the inside while clear, then drew off in the stretch to prove much the best under a stiff drive. TRADERS LUCK tracked the pace along the inside, then eased out leaving the turn and came three wide into the drive, was no match to the winner while clearly second best. SUNSHINE MAX stalked the pace three wide and came four wide into the drive and was empty, bested rest. MORNING MARCH was settled early and weakened, not a threat. BOYS OF QUEENS was outrun early, then was four wide by the quarter pole and failed to menace.
