Chart notes
READY AT DAWN was away alertly, a factor on the turn and from the three path through the stretch proved best. MAMMOTH SPRING was in touch and had a good position on the turn but from the six path at the top of the stretch was no match for the winner. ABSTEMIOUS was in range and saved ground on the turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch needed more. THY KINGDOM was off the pace and gained ground on the turn but from the seven path at the top of the stretch was all out. J AND B IN CRUMLIN was hustled early and had the lead on the turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch gave way. VERRAZANO LEGACY was well back and showed nothing while outrun.
