Chart notes
CUPERE broke outwardly at the start, reserved early two to three wide, advanced three to four wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane, lugged in bearing the furlong marker, corrected with left handed crop urging, then edged away to prove best under mild urging. RIVERCREST GIRL was settled back early towards the inside, eased out on the turn and angled out when straightened and finished well late. DREWSILLA was allowed to settle on the inside, came four wide into the drive and made a mild bid but needed more. SHE'S WAYNE'S vied for the lead on the inside, made a bid to draw clear on the turn, but faded the final furlong. PAT'S EMPYREAN was well rated along the inside, eased out nearing the quarter pole and made a three wide bid leaving the turn but flattened out. CHARLIE'S GAL lacked a serious rally. MYLIES STAR was allowed to settle early on the inside and weakened. SMILING ANGEL vied for the lead three wide and tired. COME WHAT MAE broke thru gate before the race but did not leave the gate, then settled back and was four wide on the backstretch and had no response.
