Chart notes
FINISH UP raced three to four wide around the first turn and stalked the early pace, roused forward three wide approaching the quarter pole and challenged BIG PINES SANDY for the lead, vied into upper stretch then edged ahead a furlong out, stayed sharp under a drive and finished going away. BIG PINES SANDY was forwardly placed around the first turn then took over the lead midway up the backstretch, took on the challenge from FINISH UP at the quarter pole, vied into upper stretch, failed to match strides past the furlong marker and ran on for second best. JUSTICE ONCE settled through early stages then circled up closer late on the far turn, sustained bid into the lane and cleared the rest. LATE FOR LUNCH got bumped and slightly steadied at the start then tugged while trying to rate under slight restraint around the first turn, raced midpack up the backstretch, hustled along two wide into the lane and failed to move on. BET YOU A BEER settled off the early pace, was ridden three to four wide around the final turn and failed to respond. FLEET OF HOOF led the way around the first turn then conceded position midway up the backstretch, chased along the rail around the far turn then faded in the lane. MY BOBBY MCGEE settled in range just off the top two flights at the half mile marker then weakened around the far turn and continued to tire in the drive.
