Chart notes
DECEITFUL never far back, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and drove clear late. WATCHOUTFORWEAVER set the pace on the inside, shook clear into the stretch, then was no match in the late going and held the place. DR. HYDE tracked the pace rating, gained position on the two path through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch and lacked the needed late kick. ELSA'S ROCKET vied for the early lead on the outside, bid outside the leader into the stretch, then weakened the final furlong and held a share. SLIPPERY WHEN WET well placed early, dropped back quickly and ran evenly. BIALYSTOCK passed a tiring rival. I STRONG was no factor.
