Chart notes
GOLDEN KEY dueled for the lead at the seven sixteenths pole and set a pressured pace, contested the rail on the turn and held on under steady stretch handling. NEWS FLASH chased through the backstretch, raced in range of the lead in the four and five paths on the turn, finished well for second mid-stretch and was gaining on the winner. EMPEROROFTHEDARK chased inside, raced close at the rail on the turn then relented in the stretch duel for second. DR. RUSTY RAYMOND chased through the backstretch, raced off the rail on the turn, angled to the outside leaving the turn and finished well. INSIDE RISK chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn in the three and four paths and ran evenly in the lane. CAIRO CALLING pressured the pace and raced close in the three and four paths of the turn then flattened inside the sixteenth pole. SEATTLE SAILAWAY saved ground.
