Chart notes
LAUTREC pressed the pace two wide into the far turn, made the lead, drifted to the six path and drew off late under strong handling. SILENCE trailed for nearly a half, advanced three wide through the far turn, swung out to the seven path entering the stretch and got up for second, OWN THE TOWN stalked the pace for six furlongs, moved closer two wide into the stretch then was outfinished. FUEGO CALIENTE unhurried early, passed tiring rivals three wide through deep stretch, pulled up injured past the wire and was walked off. FU ROO broke in front, set a rapid pace along the rail for nearly six furlongs then was used up. ANGEL'S ENTRY was no factor.
