Chart notes
HOLD ME CLOSER allowed to settle, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and drove clear. ULTIMATE BARONESS mid pack and inside, saved ground through the turn, angled to the two path into the stretch, then made a steady gain and lacked the needed late kick. VACCINA sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, held sway to inside the furlong marker, then weakened and held the show. MOTITO well placed and off the rail, gained position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane and weakened the final furlong. MISS INVINCIBLE rated close up, lost some ground into the stretch, drifted in, then was blocked and could not gain. MACRELLETTA was no factor.
