Chart notes
WINTERWOOD prompted the pace two wide and between horses, led at the five sixteenths pole, then kicked away in upper stretch. STELLAR TAP tracked two wide, shifted three wide turning for home, split foes at the three sixteenths pole to bid for place while in pursuit of the clear leader, gained that position shortly after, and held it from an inner foe late. PLEDGEOFALLEGIANCE tracked along the inside, attempted to shift two wide turning for home, but encountered traffic in upper stretch as his outer counterpart moved forward, found clear rail sailing in midstretch, stayed on to threaten for place in the final sixteenth, but was kept at bay. COUSIN LARRY laid far back two to three wide, shifted five wide and outside of foes approaching the final sixteenth, and moved up late. QUICK TO BLAME laid off of the pace in the four path and stayed on mildly. ENDLESS SUNSET laid far back along the inside, shifted five wide in midstretch, and improved. MIACOMET stalked three wide, bid for the lead outside of WINTERWOOD nearing the lane, but failed to keep pace with that one while hanging on his left lead in upper stretch, changed over approaching the furlong grounds, but further weakened. NEPOTISM set the pace along the inside, but gave way to a pair of bidders at the five sixteenths pole, and weakened. EL AHIJADO broke outwardly, and showed little.
