Chart notes
CHOCOLATE SHAKE stalked the pace, angled three to four wide through the upper stretch and finished well to draw clear under steady handling. FLAVIAN showed good early speed, raced two wide through the upper stretch and held well in the drive to finish second best. PHRA PHROM was bumped at the start, lagged off the early pace, altered out eighth pole and closed belatedly. MISTER MITCH was unruly behind the gate, prompt the early pace while racing three wide and gave way. EIGHT AND SAND leaned in, hit gate start, raced off the early pace, made a four wide move and flattened out in the drive. RENNIE drifted in, bumped rival at the start, raced three wide near the quarter pole and had no late rally. SYNCOPATED raced four wide near the half mile pole, angled to the rail through the far turn and never threatened. HE ROLLS pressed the pace, dropped in race along the inside through the far turn and faded.
