MUCHA MEZQUINA brushed with a foe at the start, settled off the pace, went three then four wide around the turn, came five wide into the stretch, chased outside into the final furlong, gained into the final sixteenth and missed while just up for the place. ITSAKEYPER broke out and bumped with a foe, steadied very briefly while carried in early, moved up then settled of the pace, ranged up two then three wide on the turn, gained to make an outside bid into upper stretch, dueled with the winner into the final sixteenth, fought on to the wire but missed and was denied the place but clear for the show. ANGELINKA (FR) was hustled from the start, angled to the rail early, tracked the pace down the backstretch, drafted inside on the turn, was roused into upper stretch, brushed the rail inside the three-sixteenths, dropped back into the final furlong and lacked the needed kick. JASMINESQUE settled off the pace, went three wide on the turn, came five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response. MORE MANGO brushed with a rival at the start then was hustled, settled off the pace, saved ground on the turn, moved out in the stretch and was no factor. JEN'S BATTLE settled on the outside, was urged four to five wide around the turn, came six wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. QUALITY STONES bumped with an opponent while breaking in front, showed the way off the rail, went around the turn in the two path, lost the lead in upper stretch and capitulated. BAY JEWEL was coaxed along near the back, came under stronger encouragement late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path, raced between foes passing the five-sixteenths, spun three wide into the stretch and failed to respond.
