Chart notes
LAKE MARIE stumbled and bumped with the horse to her outside leaving the gate, recovered to lead the way between horses up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, kicked clear entering the stretch and held that margin to the wire. OOCHIE chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and kept on in the lane while drifting out in the final furlong. EXACTA bobbled slightly leaving the gate, trailed the field through the opening quarter of a mile, navigated the turn from the three path, swung wide to began a bid approaching the quarter pole and gained ground on the outside late. PUZZLING PRIORITY raced in the middle of the pack on the inside in the early going, navigated the turn from the two path, cut in entering the stretch and finished evenly. CAVE CREEK raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path and was empty from there. FIRSTSLATE brushed with the horse to her inside at the break, stalked the frontrunner on the outside in the opening stages, raced in the two path around the turn and faded in the lane. AIRBORNE GAL bumped with the horse to her inside leaving the gate, pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and tired in the stretch.
