Chart notes
SMITHWICK'S SPICE was bumped at the start, vied two wide for the lead, dueled with LIKE WHAT I SEE on the turn and into the stretch, battled heads apart with that rival to midstretch, then took charge and drew clear in the final sixteenth. LIKE WHAT I SEE set the early pace, then vied inside for command, dueled on the turn, dug in gamely inside of the winner entering the stretch and yielded grudgingly. JESTERS HONOR raced off the pace between rivals, steadied entering the turn, raced inside on the turn and rallied on the rail for third. WHAT'S UP MR. Z stumbled badly at the start, raced off the pace inside, moved up three wide on the turn, rallied mildly and got fourth. DR. DOYLE was bumped at the start, chased two wide, chased on the turn and weakened. QUIBERON BAY steadied at the start, raced off the pace between rivals, went four wide on the turn and had no rally. ON THE COME UP chased on the inside, chased on the turn and tired. NO CENTS raced three wide off the pace, went four wide on the turn and gave way.
