Chart notes
MY GOLDEN DAY settled just off the early pace in opening stages the edged up closer four wide late on the turn, given cue five wide at the head of the lane, roused forward to duel for the lead, dug in gamely, shook off stubborn SAMIRA and finished clear. SAMIRA was forwardly placed three wide heading into the turn, vied for the lead at the quarter pole, battled on into the lane, stayed on determinedly past the furlong marker then failed to move on with the winner. PEGGY RULES was reserved racing in the back, saved ground around the turn, shifted four wide at the head of the lane and rallied for a share. GIRLS IN CHARGE sped to the lead at the start and angled inside, held a slim lead then dueled around the turn, battled on to the furlong marker then flattened out. SHEMEANSBIZNESS was forwardly placed soon after the start, dueled two wide between rivals around the turn, fought back in the upper stretch then gave way. SHESABIDFORMIDABLE raced near midpack along the inside, cut the corner entering the lane, sustained bid in the upper stretch then gave way. OLIVE OYL was not too back back racing between foes late on the backstretch then flattened around the turn and continued to tire in the drive.
