Chart notes
PODEROSO EQUS was allowed to settle off the pace came into contention on the second turn split rivals on the turn then swung three wide entering the stretch and held gamely. BURGAMEISTER was well off the pace for the first half came four wide on the second turn to get into contention but could not go by the eventual winner in the stretch. LOOKING FOR BULL was also well off the pace for the first half dropped back to last at the three quarters then swung six wide on the turn and was able to get up for third. GIMME SPACE raced three wide the entire mile and could not make up the needed ground in the stretch. BUD MINISTER raced along the inside in the second tier was shuffled back along the inside then could not make up the needed ground. A P'S BLUEGRASS was hustled to the lead along the inside to challenge from the outset was in contention until the final turn and gave way. IOWA NATIVE showed good speed in the two path took a narrow lead after three quarters but dropped back after that. MACHO MADNESS raced mid pack in the early stages while off the rail and then began a steady fade.
