CHARITABLE ANY sent hard shook clear on the turn widening in upper stretch winning as much the best. MACHEN MAYHEM slow early lost ground to upper stretch coming on late for place seven wide. MAGNIFICENT MADDY pressed early then chased a loose leader to upper stretch proving no match there drifting out under left hand urging bothering rival in the process inside the sixteenth pole. S S ENERGY went evenly through the turn coming five wide in upper stretch being herded and forced to check inside the sixteenth pole. ECLIPSE GLOW was always outrun, FOLLOWING A STEWARDS INQUIRY MAGNIFICENT MADDY WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED FOURTH FOR INTERFERENCE WITH S S ENERGY INSIDE THE SIXTEENTH POLE.
