Chart notes
PLAY BALL broke in front, set a pressured pace into the stretch, shook clear under left handed urging and lasted under a brisk hand ride. SHOW SLIDING HOME never far back, checked behind rivals at the quarter pole, swung wide and rallied for second in the middle of the racetrack. SWEET LEMON DROP pressured the winner two wide and was outfinished. ROSCO P. COLTRANE offered a mild bid three wide through the turn, swung wide then leveled off in the middle of the racetrack. JACK BE FAST pressed the pace along the rail into the stretch then weakened. YOU'RE MY BOY BLUE with the second flight three wide, dropped back on the turn, swung out past mid track and lost ground. FUNNEL CAKE bobbled outward at the start, rushed to contention four wide before a quarter, remained a forward factor for a half then was used up.
