BOLDLEE Vied for the lead four wide, two path on the turn, asked, responded to kick loose some and then drew clear for the win. DUGOUT Well placed along the two path into the turn, angled out and closed well. SON OF DARKNESS Contested the lead five wide early, three path on the turn, battled some in the lane and weakened. SARATOGA PAL Unhurried along the rail, eased out some and made a late bid. BEACHSIDE Lagged back along the three path on the turn, angled in some and failed to threaten. ALONGCAMETHEPRINCE Three path on the turn and weakened. SIMBASALLTROUBLE Unhurried along the three path, five wide on the turn and failed to take part. SMOKIN' ALONE Close up six wide early, four wide on the turn and tired. HIGHWAYTWENTYSEVEN Close up along the rail, appeared to bolt nearing the three-eighths pole and then was pulled up but did cross the finish line. A stewards inquiry was posted concerning HIGHWAYTWENTYSEVEN bolting on the turn, resulted in no change.
