VALID REASON quickly took over to set a pressured pace through the backstretch, drew clear off the rail midway on the turn, was moderately encouraged through the upper stretch then taken in hand while drawing off the final sixteenth. TIZ THE REASON was bumped inward and into MS HEADLEY leaving the gate then pressured the pace through the backstretch, dropped back at the rail midway on the turn and proved no match in the lane. The latter was bumped inward and into Sweetonthegents at the break then chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the three path and held on for third. NELLYSFORD chased outside, rounded the turn about the four path and finished evenly outside. SWEETONTHEGENTS was bumped at the break, picked up the chase inside and raced near the rail on the turn, then weakened into the lane. CHARM WEAVER broke in and made contact with Tiz The Reason, gave chase through the backstretch and rounded the turn near the rail.
