Chart notes
NEW WAYS TO DREAM allowed to settle, looped up three and four wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and drove clear. CRYSTAL SHIP well placed and outside, moved up to gain a short lead through the turn, shook clear into the stretch, then was no match for the winner late, while clearly best of the rest. SILVERY RILL never far back, looped up three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch and flattened out. LIGHTNING FIRE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged through the turn, then weakened the final furlong and held a share. MIDNIGHT FAME rated close up, raced boxed on the two path through the turn, came through on that path into the stretch and weakened. HIDEKI tracked the pace, lost some ground through the turn, came through inside, was boxed and faded.
