Chart notes
IRISH WAHINE chased along the inside then two wide into the drive, reeled in the leader with a furlong to go, cleared soon after and won going away. SOUL SWEET bumped leaving the gate, chased two then three wide around the turn, steered out in upper stretch and closed well for the place. CA DREAMER got bumped both sides at the start then went up to take control and clear the field, led three then two wide around the turn, held a diminishing lead entering the final furlong, relinquished command shortly after, faltered late but was able to hold the show. SECRET SQUARE broke a step slow, steadied behind rivals early, angled to the inside, eased out to the three path around the bend, moved out further in the drive and missed the show. ANA LISA broke in and bumped CA DREAMER, was closest in pursuit from outside, rounded the turn four then three wide and lacked the needed response through the drive. MEASUREOFDEVOTION sat off the pace early, went three wide into the turn, angled out and entered the lane five wide and failed to menace.
