Chart notes
OTRO MAS tracked the pace off the inside, took aim four wide into the stretch, drifted inward and collared rival at the three-sixteenths pole, kicked clear quickly and drew off under a drive. HE'S A CANDY MAN lost his footing at the start but quickly recovered and went up to take control and clear the field, led two wide through the turn and into the stretch, collared by the winner at the three-sixteenths pole and could not offer any resistance, then stayed on through the final furlong for a clear second. JERRY JEFF WALKER bobbled leaving the gate to come away a bit slow, stalked on the inside then moved to the two path around the bend, angled inside at the top of the stretch and was along for the show. HEY BATMAN was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, bid outside the leader at the three-eighths pole, could not sustain the challenge and chased three wide into the stretch and weakened. MISCHIEF'S THIRSTY trailed three wide through the turn and failed to menace.
