Chart notes
ZYRAMID was away alertly to set the pace on the inside while clear, then drew off leaving the turn and was ridden out to prove much the best. FILIGREE was settled early and was two to three wide on the turn, angled in and finished well to gain the place award on the inside. MARVIN stalked the winner three wide and came four wide into the lane and faded, held show award. BALISTICO chased the pace four wide and came five wide and had no punch. WHERE YOU WAS was reserved early, three wide by the quarter pole and angled out to have a belated rally on the outside. BATTLEBUS was reserved early and saved ground on the turn and had no rally. ALWAYS SOMETHING broke in at the start, chased the early pace on the inside and weakened.
