Chart notes
LIGHTS OF BROADWAY settled off the pace while racing two wide, edged closer three wide around the far turn, closed determinedly and was up in the final strides. CHEERFUL CHARLIE led inside early, settled back when MAXIMO became intent on the lead late on the first turn, re-bid two wide around the far turn, took over near the quarter pole, drew clear in upper stretch and was nailed. TIGRE raced off the pace three wide, angled five wide turning for home and rallied for the show. LIVE IS LIFE chased the pace three wide around the first turn and two wide around the far turn, bid nearing the eighth pole then weakened. DANGEROUS RIDE failed to menace while racing two and three wide. MAXIMO was intent on the lead, drew well clear down the backstretch, angled in nearing the far turn, led to the quarter pole and retreated.
