Chart notes
LAMPLIGHTER JACK set the pace along the rail, drifted out under left-hand urging through the final sixteenth and lasted. LURE HIM IN settled off the early pace two wide, tracked three wide down the backstretch and around the far turn, rallied outside and just missed. CALIBRATOR stalked the winner two wide and was one-paced through the lane. JOURNEYMAN saved ground off the pace, went four wide around the far turn and could only gain slightly in the lane. SOLE VOLANTE trailed inside early, edged closer two wide around the far turn and lacked the needed rally. LAKER MAMBA steadied into the first turn, raced in range inside and lacked a closing bid.
