Chart notes
SHOWTIME CAT chased the early pace toward the outside, rounded the turn in the three path, drifted out leaving the turn but dug in under steady encouragement to get up the final yards. MATH MAN MARCO set a pressured pace while tapering in, rounded the turn near the rail, cleared Super Jordan past the eighth pole but was caught in the final yards. FIBER STRONG gave chase outside, raced in the four and five paths of the turn, was carried to the outside leaving the turn but finished evenly to take third late yards. SUPER JORDAN pressured the pace, contested the turn at even terms two deep, but dropped back past the eighth pole and flattened the final sixteenth. NIGHT TRAIN WAYNE gave chase while being eased to the outside through the backstretch, rounded the turn in the five path and ran evenly down the lane. ROCKET APPEAL gave chase inside then weakened leaving the turn. FIFTY FIFTY gave chase inside, angled out toward the head of the lane and left the turn widest.
