Chart notes
CAMPFIRE CREED was allowed to settled in the early going, rallied on the turn and moved out to be four wide for the stretch drive, was in full flight and powered to the front in late stretch. WILDATLANTICSTORM set the pace while being well handled into the turn, drew off turning for home then was in a hard drive but could not last in the end. TODDCHERO chased the early pace while inside on then backstretch, saved ground on the turn and was no threat. VIETNAM VICTORY chased the early pace while three wide, made a bid on the turn but came up empty in the stretch drive. ROMAN GIANT was unhurried early then failed to menace. U. S. ARMY raced two wide in the early going, was used up and gave way.
