Chart notes
REDNECKER sat back just off the early pace, navigated through the turn three wide then given cue mid-stretch, steadily edged up closer then dug in three deep and edged away. BIT A BAD NEWS tracked the pace into the turn and saved ground, launched a rail bid a furlong out, roused forward into striking distance but could not get by the winner. TROUBLE IN RED vied for the lead with PALACEDANCER up the backstretch then shook free and widened advantage, continued clear past the furlong marker then came up tired in final stages and gave way. FREEIA TAP raced in contention three wide, chased two wide around the turn then ran on evenly through the lane. PALACEDANCER vied for the early lead with TROUBLE IN RED then chased rival around the turn and weakened in the lane. DELIGHT SURPRISE lacked speed and failed to move into contention.
