OSCAR WINNER WALLY tracked the embattled trio up the backstretch, picked up the pace four wide heading into the lane, given cue three wide approaching the eighth pole, responded gamely and kicked clear. SECRET BLARNEY dueled inside a duo up the backstretch, continued to battle with REDNECKERTHANYOU into upper stretch, fought back gamely from the inside, held a slight lead then got overtaken by the winner. REDNECKERTHANYOU vied for the early lead racing three deep, battled on with SECRET BLARNEY into upper stretch, could not move on with leaders a furlong out but stayed on with response for a share. NOT ROCKET SCIENCE tracked the top flight up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, shifted three wide in upper stretch and needed more for late impact. KING DEUCE dueled between rivals up the backstretch, battled on around the turn then weakened in the lane.
