Chart notes
SAVAGE broke a step slowly from the gate, tracked the pace through the turn, angled out to bid outside that one into the stretch, then made a steady gain and edged up in the final strides. KITCHEN FIRE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, then drew off in the stretch and was outfinished. OLDZFOURFORTYTWO well placed and outside, moved up two and three wide through the turn, came widest into the stretch and evened out. CHARLIE CHARLIE unhurried, moved two and three wide through the turn, came three wide into the stretch and edged up for a share. CAPTAIN MAD JACK allowed to settle, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and weakened the final furlong. LET PEACE PREVAIL stalked the pace on the outside, held position two and three wide through the turn, then faded into the stretch.
