Chart notes
QUALIFLY was quickly clear moving easily on lead saving ground to upper stretch widening on the rail while ridden out. CAPE LOOKOUT stalked a loose leader gaining a bit on the turn being dispatched by the winner in upper stretch staying with it in the two path to save place. ATTA BOY ANTHONY a step slow through the turn raced five and six wide down the lane finishing evenly. POLITICAL RIOT went evenly through the turn racing four path down the lane lacking rally there. POWELL was never involved. RONALD R (IRE) off slowly trailed throughout.
