Chart notes

CLEAR CUT prompted the pace outside, led at the eighth pole, dueled the remainder of the trip and won the head bob. BUSTIN UP led inside under pressure, vied from the final turn to the finish and was edged at the wire. SENSIBLE JIM settled off the pace near the inside then made a gradual late gain. STAFF SERGEANT saved ground throughout and flattened out in the stretch. LT'S JACKNTHEBOX forced the pace three wide for three quarters and weakened. FACTUM LOVE STYLE chased wide throughout then went evenly in the stretch. MAGIC WIZARD lacked speed along the inside and was never a factor. D'LUCCI BOY broke slowest and trailed throughout losing contact with his field.
