Chart notes
SONNET rated off the rail, gained position and a short lead two and three wide through the second turn, shook clear three wide into the stretch, then drew off and was kept to the task. MISS CALIFORNIA allowed to settle, moved up through the second turn, angled widest into the stretch and closed well for the place. TALES OF MAKENNA unhurried, angled out four wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the stretch, then drifted in late and weakened. PRECISION PRADO rated back inside, moved to position on the two path through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, angled out and could not gain. HIGHWAY QUEEN set the early pace inside and faded the final furlong. HALF BIRTHDAY stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the second turn and faded into the stretch.
