Chart notes
WILLIE WANDO broke sharply from the gate and was well placed outside, angled in and tracked the leader through the turn, then angled three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and drove clear. JOSH'S HONOR stalked the pace from between rivals, gained a striking position on the two path through the turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, gained a short lead, then was no match for the winner, while clearly best of the rest. WHISKEYMAC broke sharply from the gate and angled in to set the pace, stayed on when challenged through the turn, then weakened late and held the show. NORTHERN WEIGELIA tracked the pace well back, saved ground through the turn and closed for a share on an inside track. GOOD FORTUNE was never involved. MOMENT AT SEA was no factor.
