Chart notes
POSTED became a bit fractious in the gate then took a slim lead at the rail into the first turn, was met toward the seven sixteenths pole, gave chase from that point, rounded the far turn in the three path, eased to the five path leaving the turn and dug in to regain control past the sixteenth pole. COMEONTURNMELOOSE rounded the first turn in the three path, started a bid from the seven sixteenths pole, improved at the rail on the far turn, dug in through the final furlong and took second in the closing yards. MISTER DEEKS stalked the pace two deep, took a slim lead approaching the seven sixteenths pole, was met toward the quarter, dueled close at the rail on the far turn and had the nod into the lane, but was caught passing the sixteenth pole and relented late stretch. CHARTERED COURSE rated close about the three path, bid toward the seven sixteenths pole and dueled to a slim lead approaching the quarter, contested the edge off the rail on the far turn but was met in the four path leaving the turn and weakened. YDOUHAVETOBESOMEAN rounded the first turn in the four path, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole but flattened in the five path of the far turn. CRISTIANO BOY rounded the opening turn in the six path, showed only mild response from the three eighths pole then flattened off the rail on the far turn. GHOST MINE settled in the three path the first turn, gave chase toward the seven sixteenths pole then weakened off the rail on the far turn. CAYATANO rounded the first turn in the six path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response. BERNIE THE GAMBLER was not a factor. HARDIN saved ground.
