Chart notes
STEP OUT DANCING saved ground off the pace, bid leaving the nine sixteenths pole and contested even terms two deep on the far turn, took the lead past the eighth pole and held on under steady encouragement. CANTAKEITANYMORE raced well off the pace about the three path, started a bid leaving the half mile pole, rounded the far turn off the rail, dueled for second mid-stretch and was gaining on the winner. BIG RINNE rounded the first turn in the four path, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, came through the far turn in the six path then dueled through the stretch for third. EDICT saved early ground, bid nearing the three eighths pole and raced in range of the lead about the four path of the far turn then outfinished in the duel for third. SURE WOULD FOREST rounded the opening turn about the four path and raced well back, then bid only mildly leaving the seven sixteenths pole. TOP HAT TREASON raced off the pace in the three and four paths and showed little response through the backstretch. FRATHOUSE MUSIC rated the pace inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, was met approaching the quarter pole, continued at even terms nearest the rail through the far turn then weakened the final furlong. ANCHOR'S FIRSTLADY stalked off the rail, faded past the seven sixteenths pole and was eased the final quarter.
