Chart notes
CLAPTON dueled two wide between foes to upper stretch, dueled inside of DEAN DELIVERS to deep stretch and edged ahead under a drive. DEAN DELIVERS disputed the pace three wide for six furlongs, dueled outside of the winner through much of the lane but was outfinished. NOBLE DRAMA lacked speed, raced along the rail throughout and rallied for the show. GATSBY dueled inside of the top two finishers for six furlongs, could not quite match strides in upper stretch, angled out in midstretch, drifted out through the final sixteenth and lost the show late. SHIVAREE raced off the pace two wide, swung six wide near the quarter pole and lacked the needed rally. CATTIN tracked the pace four wide and faded through the stretch. SOCIALLONGDISTANCE was outrun while racing two wide. KLUGMAN had speed three wide and was through after a half.
