Chart notes
SARATOGA VISION was near the back of the field early on, took closer order to the pack at the quarter pole, rallied in the six path at the top of the stretch, gained control at the furlong marker between horses and dug in stubbornly late to hold off the closing challenger at the finish. SILENT CAUSEWAY was allowed to settle at the back to trail the field until the stretch run, angled out to be the widest runner in the seventh path for the drive, was gaining steadily under left handed urging in deep stretch and just could not get to the winner nearing the line. MS VANCOUGAR waited behind the frontrunners on the rail through the turn, looked for room in upper stretch, found a seam midpoint down the lane and battled on the rail in deep stretch only to finish just short of the winner in a gritty performance. INTHEWINNERSCIRCLE hounded the pacesetter through the early parts of the race, assumed command briefly turning for home between rivals and could not find another gear and finished evenly in deep stretch for a minor share. KEYFLOWER (FR) tracked just outside in the second flight on the turn, was ridden while in the hunt at the top of the stretch racing five wide and stalled with an eighth remaining. AMALFI SKY set all the early fractions, was collared at the top of the stretch, offered little resistance for the drive and stopped inside at the furlong marker.
