Chart notes
CHAMPIOSA pressed the pace from the outside of SHE'S ON FIRE entering the backstretch, continued to force the issue two wide entering the final turn, put away his pace rival midway through the turn but was tackled by DRILL BABY DRILL, was overtaken entering rhe lane, but battled determinedly from along the rail to re-take the lead in the final stride to prevail. DRILL BABY DRILL away well and stalked the dueling leaders into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, rallied smartly three wide entering the final turn, took the narrowest of leads into the lane, but was unable to put away a stubborn CHAMPIOSA, who fought on gamely from along the rail in deep stretch to re-take the lead in the final stride. CAROLINA GENT tracked the battling leaders into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, rallied two wide through the final turn, and finished one out from the rail in the drive to garner a share. AUNTIE J was fractious prior to the start, settled off the contested early pace while racing one out from the rail entering the backstretch, commenced her bid four wide entering the final turn, and improved her position over the final furlong without seriously threatening. SHE'S ON FIRE broke sharply and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from the inside of CHAMPIOSA in the run down the backstretch and into the final turn, was unable to keep tabs on that rival midway through the turn, and was outfinished late. EASTERS MEMORY stalked the dueling leaders into the backstretch while racing three out from the rail, rallied four wide entering the final turn, but lacked the needed closing response when called upon while continuing with a wide trip throughout. PERFECT PENNY settled well off the early pace while racing one out from the rail entering the backstretch, saved ground entering the final turn, but failed to menace. JERSEYS IMAGE unhurried early while trailing the field into the first turn while racing three out from the rail, was always well back, and failed to make an impact. LOOK AT MY SOCKS away alertly, but quickly dropped well off the pace while racing one out from the rail entering the first turn, trailed the field in the run to the final turn, and was never a factor.
