Chart notes
SPONSORED was bumped at the start, made an advance through the far turn while racing three to four wide and finished well to edge clear late under steady pressure. ONE AMERICA vied for the early lead while racing two wide, dug in near the eighth pole and gave way to Sponsored grudgingly late. NEVER SATISFIED settled off the early going, moved up seven wide into the upper stretch, shifted in through the stretch run and gained ground well late. SUE LOVES BARBADOS dropped back early to race near the back of the pack, made a steady advance through the far turn, raced four wide near the quarter pole, raced from the outside in the lane and moved up to improve position. LIBERTY STAR was coaxed along from the inside, continued an inside bid in the lane and had no final winning bid. SUPERSTITIEUX broke to the outside, dropped back early, raced near the inside past the quarter pole and never threatened. JET SPEED vied for the early lead while racing between rivals and gave way. MAD GENIUS vied for the early lead from the outside and faded. HIS ROYAL G raced off the early pace, was deep near the three sixteenths pole and lacked a bid.
