Chart notes
TEMPUS allowed to settle, moved up three and four wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain, drew off late and was kept to the task. NOTACATBUTACARD tracked the pace, angled out to gain the lead three wide through the second turn, then weakened late and held the place. FARAT unhurried, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch and flattened out. C THE KING allowed to settle, looped up four wide through the second turn, bid three wide outside the leader into the stretch and weakened the final furlong. ON BASE well placed and inside, angled around a fading rival and was boxed through the second turn, angled widest into the stretch and could not gain. HONORABLE stalked the pace on the outside and faded on the two path through the second turn. MAKES GOOD SENSE set the pace on the inside and faded through the second turn.
