Chart notes
BASEBALL LOVER dueled on the front end, saved ground, was all out and held on for the win, setting a new track record. COLONEL KLINK raced within contention, made a late bid, missed for the win, but proved best of others. FAREWELL TIME pressed the pace, raced four wide down the home stretch and proved no match for the top two. SHIFTY HENRY raced evenly near the back in the early part, came around the turn wide, moved up, but was no factor. LET IT B showed early speed, faded and was no threat late. JAKE THE BAND MAN brushed at the start, raced evenly near the back and was never a threat. TAPIZARS SECRET raced near the middle of the field, saved ground around the turn and weakened. MUCHO MARVIN brushed at the break, raced in the rear, saved ground and showed little.
